About the role – Based within the Physical Therapies team at the AIS campus in Canberra, this is an exciting opportunity for an early career sports physiotherapist to work within a multi-disciplinary HP team environment. This position will support the development of one of Australia’s next-generation HP Sports Physiotherapists. A targeted learning and development program will be a critical component of the role, to support the development of knowledge and skills for integration back into the Australian HP system upon completion of the tenure. The role will require the physiotherapist to collaborate with members of the multidisciplinary HP team, to assist in the delivery of world-class Physiotherapy services to athletes from designated National Training Centre programs, HP Camps and AIS Intensive Rehabilitation athletes.
About you – We are seeking a highly motivated early-career sports physiotherapist. You will have:
- Postgraduate Qualifications in Sports Physiotherapy
- 5 years minimum of demonstrated experience within the Sports environment
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary high performance team
- Demonstrated commitment to developing skills and knowledge
This position is offered as a two-year fixed-term contract.
