Classes operating 7 days p/w including morning, afternoon and evenings.


To plan and deliver quality swimming and water safety lessons in a safe, fun and positive learning environment.

To possess a thorough understanding of our Korowa Aquatics swimming and water safety program  to always ensure the safety and enjoyment of all students.

Work independently with small groups of infants, preschool children, and young people.

  • Develop positive teaching relationships with students and parents.
  • Maintain a positive, pleasant, and fair attitude while teaching.

Understand learn to swim programs for all levels.

  • Ensure the safety of all students.
  • Incorporate the Swim & Survive program as and when directed by management.
  • Conduct quality lessons which meet the students' individual needs.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and students to continually increase knowledge and improve lesson delivery.
  • Maintain all records relating to students and lessons.
  • In the case of an emergency ensure the safe evacuation of all students.

Ensure you have a thorough understanding of the KOROWA Child Safe Policy and reporting process.

  • Ensure you meet, always, the behaviour standards outlined in the ESA Child Safe Policy and Codes of Conduct.
  • Ensure all Swim School Staff practise, monitor and adhere to the ESA Child Safe Policy and Codes of Conduct, to maintain a child safe environment.
  • Provide a welcoming and safe environment for children and young people.
  • Promote the safety and wellbeing of children and young people to whom we provide services.
  • Ensure that your interactions with children and young people are positive and safe.
  • Provide adequate care and supervision of children and young people.
  • Act as a positive role model for children and young people.
  • Report any suspicions, concerns, allegations, or disclosures of alleged abuse to management.
