Description

Are you a passionate Diving Coach seeking to develop your coaching? Bring your expertise to a role that allows you to develop student’s skill and inspire an enthusiasm for the sport.

Trinity Grammar School is seeking reliable and knowledgeable casual Diving Coaches to join the team.

To thrive as a Coach at Trinity, you will encourage student’s skill progression, while fostering and developing an appreciation for the sport. The Coaching appointments are on offer at the School’s Summer Hill campus, with sessions run 3pm-5pm Friday and 2pm-4pm Saturday.

What’s involved?

  • Deliver coaching sessions, working closely with the Co-ordinator of Diving.
  • Facilitate the skill development of students with a range of skill levels to achieve performance outcomes.
  • Attend all rostered-on activities including coaches’ meetings and training sessions.
  • Liaise with the Co-ordinator of Diving for providing reports on student performance, results and other issues as required.

We are looking for… 

  • A sound coaching background, ideally in a school or junior sports program.
  • Diving competitor experience desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing students across varying age groups and skill level.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional and timely manner as you'll be interacting with peers, parents, and students.
  • Professional approach to work – punctual for all coaching sessions and meetings.

Essential Requirements

  • First Aid Certificate
  • Current Provide/Perform CPR
  • Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
  • Play by the Rules - Child Protection Certificate
  • COVID-19 vaccination certificate or a COVID-19 vaccine medical contraindication exemption

  • Your NSW-Working with Children number. (Must be Employment not Volunteer Status).
  • Copy of your valid First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) and CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
  • Copy of your valid PBTR-Child Protection module certificate.
  • Copy of your valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate or a COVID-19 vaccine medical contraindication exemption.
