Established in 1982/83 season, we are one of the Premiere Women’s cricket clubs in Sydney. Our club has a proud history of winning Club Championships (9 times), Grade premierships (30 times) and Junior premierships (8 times). Nine of our Players have gone on to represent Australia and a multitude of others have represented other countries.
The challenge and the role
We are in a rebuild phase. We have a lot of talented young players with many being part of the Cricket NSW academies and State Squad pathway. We are seeking an enthusiastic coach who will develop our players to be the best individuals and cricketers they can be and, in the process, build on our legacy and uphold the values of our club.
Help plan and drive our off-season, pre-season, and in- season training programs.
Mentor and coordinate members of the club coaching pool.
Available to attend training and observe matches on a regular basis as agreed with Club.
Drive and monitor High Performance systems, methods and best practice including Individual Performance Plans (IPPs). workload management and strategy/analysis.
Collaborate with the Cricket NSW coaching staff to maintain and complement the development of our Players in the Cricket NSW pathways.
Instruct Cricket skills and team tactics.
Participate in planning and selection of Premier Cricket teams for match-day.
Be a role model for players, parents, and officials, and be an external ambassador of the Club.
You will bring:
Leadership skills and people management experience.
Ability to analyse, study, plan and assess the game as it develops.
Excellent communicator (written and verbal).
Knowledge of cricket skills - technical and tactical.
Ability to deal with a wide range of players, officials, and supporters.
Level 2 or 3 Cricket Australia coach’s accreditation.
