We are seeking passionate and experienced, OR new, Swim Teachers to join our Learn to Swim program located in Stonnington City.

You will be responsible for instructing children aged 3 - 12 years old in our Learn to Swim programs, focusing on water safety and stroke development, producing swimmers with a high standard of technical excellence.  We have plenty of shift options weekdays after school and weekends, with some school hours as well.

To be successful in the role, you will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Current AUSTSWIM qualification in Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or Equivalent
• Current CPR qualifications and WWCC (employee). First Aid qualifications are looked upon favourably, but not essential.
• Experience in instructing Learn to Swim programs and delivering skill specific lesson plans OR completed your course and looking to complete your training hours with a view to employment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate a variety of aquatic skills to children of all abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and customer services skills
• Demonstrated willingness to participate in industry training and professional development courses
• Are coachable and willing to take on board feedback, ideas and suggestions
• Demonstrable reliability and ongoing commitment to our program.
