This person will need to be highly motivated and have great initiative. We are looking for coaches that have a strong love and knowledge for the sport and great understanding of coaching methods, industry standards and educational trends. Applicants will need to possess fantastic time management and class management skills. This position is intended to commence Part time and move into a Full time leadership role for the right applicant over time.
This applicant should have a MAG Advanced Gymnastics Accreditation (FIG Level 2 or Higher), although not absolutely crucial to the role. Other interested candidates will be considered on the provisor that they are working towards upskilling and gaining this level of accreditation. Having a MAG Advanced Judging Accreditation or higher will also be highly desired, but not crucial to the role. Previous experience working with children and coaching within a gymnastics environment would be ideal. Applicants should have at least a valid MAG Intermediate Bronze Gymnastics coaching accreditation.
This would be a great role for a young aspiring coach looking to take on a bigger role, looking after their own squad, working within a smaller established team, and looking to make their mark in a club program!
This person MUST be available for coaching each afternoon and on Saturdays. From time to time there will be school groups in the afternoon prior to taking your MAG Squad that we'd like this applicant to take as part of their hours, although not crucial to the position.
