The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Rugby League Club is an iconic brand within Australian sport. Since 1935, Canterbury-Bankstown has provided many of the greatest moments that the game of Rugby League has seen. The Club actively engages with its community, harnessing the Game's popularity to deliver programs that make a difference in people's lives across Australia.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, the Senior Partnership Services Executive will provide and manage the servicing, fulfilment and renewal components of the Partnerships program as well as identifying and securing new commercial partners.
This position will provide quality service and support to the Partnership team and assist in achieving consistent profitable growth in commercial revenues, ensuring the retention and upgrading of existing partners through meticulous planning, servicing and management of partners. The role will also secure new commercial partnerships to the Club, with a focus on key sponsorship inventory, and will identify and develop new partnership assets and leveraging partnership opportunities for the Club.
To be considered for this role you will have broad experience in B2B sales, account/relationship management and/or sponsorship servicing roles that demonstrate a high level of engagement with medium-large enterprises and a proven record of negotiating and closing deals.
You will be self-motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude, and a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within the wider team structure is key, as is the capacity to build and maintain relationships and strategically engage a diverse group of stakeholders. A friendly, professional, client focused approach is a must. Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Sports Management or similar and/or experience working within Australian sport, media, agencies or venues is highly desirable.
