- Hands-on strategic and operational leadership role
- Stakeholder and member engagement focus
- Lisarow location on the beautiful Central Coast
Central Coast Football (CCF) is the sole delegated authority empowered to promote and coordinate the game of football on the Central Coast and has been serving the Central Coast community since 1963. CCF is a not for profit organisation with currently 14,500 players from 24 affiliated clubs encompassing players under 5-year-old to all age women and men. CCF administers approximately 650 games of football each weekend, culminating in a Final Series in August/September.
As part of the strategy to provide an all-year-round football experience the CCF Fives complex has recently been constructed consisting of three 5-a-side fields with FIFA standard synthetic surfaces, lighting and a hospitality area that makes better use of the Pluim Park complex. With its home ground and offices at Pluim Park, CCF is structured with an elected Board of Directors supported by a CEO and dedicated team of 9 staff.
Working closely with the Board, the existing staff, and a highly committed volunteer and stakeholder group, you will have the opportunity to build on and implement the strategic and operational plans for Central Coast Football. In what must be regarded a hands-on role you will be working at the community level of football operations, developing and delivering Central Coast Football’s goals and objectives to its multiple stakeholders within a closely monitored annual budget.
To be considered for this challenging role you will need to demonstrate strength and experiences across the core position responsibilities including but not limited to relationship management, staff leadership, financial accountability, asset management and maintenance, customer service and commercial management.
The role presents good opportunity for the development of your skills and experiences with challenges unique to the administration of community sport. If you are looking for a job offering plenty of variety and a role that can make a positive and lasting impact on the core stakeholder groups, this may well be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
While prior experience in a comparable CEO role will be highly regarded, candidates ready to apply experiences gained from a similarly scaled leadership role will also be considered. Experience from within a sport or not-for-profit member based organisation would be an advantage. A background in football is highly desired and you must be committed to providing strong foundations for the growth of the sport throughout the Central Coast.
The CEO Central Coast Football search and recruitment process is being managed exclusively by Sportspeople Recruitment - a specialist division of People Recruitment Group.
