THE OPPORTUNITY

The Sydney Swans are accepting applications from suitably experienced individuals for the Manager – Commercial Partnerships role to provide outstanding partnership management as well as successfully deliver the Club’s sponsorship program.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Senior account management for a portfolio of Sydney Swans commercial partners
  • Sponsorship leverage and activation strategy and delivery
  • Digital leverage strategy and delivery
  • Corporate partner reporting and insights reporting 
  • Corporate sales - renewals and new business
  • Upholding Sydney Swans brand and values

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven sponsorship account management experience in the sports industry (ideally 4+ years, AFL experience is valued but not essential)
  • Proven experience in the strategy and development of integrated digital and activation sponsorship campaigns for commercial outcomes
  • Leadership, problem solving and relationship management skills
  • Exceptional customer service approach with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across a range of key stakeholders
  • Cross department collaboration
  • Budget management
  • Exceptional attention to detail

Due to the nature of the industry, the ideal candidate must be flexible in their availability as extended hours and weekend work will be required for this role.
