The Western Australian Institute of Sport seek a Performance Psychologist to work with some of the best current and emerging Olympic and Paralympic athletes in Australia.

• The ideal candidate is a registered Psychologist with in-depth experience in high performance environments.
• The role will be fully embedded in Sport Programs at WAIS, working directly with elite athletes and coaches as part of a multidisciplinary support team. The role of the Performance Psychologist will assist athletes develop their performance mindset and ability to perform when it matters the most.
• A flexible approach along with an understanding of elite performance and ‘what it takes to win’ at the Olympics and Paralympics is preferred. In return WAIS and the AIS will provide access to the High-Performance Sport System Psychology Peer Supervisory Network.
• Located in the beautiful McGillivray Oval precinct in Mt Claremont, access to the state-of-the-art strength and conditioning gym and close to HBF Stadium this is the perfect role for a Psychologist with the drive to be successful in a high-performance environment.

This is a full-time, two year fixed term opportunity with an immediate start.
