A bit about the role

The Conference Administrator is responsible for managing local cricket and competitions in the Mid North Coast region. Based in Port Macquarie, the successful applicant will work closely with the relevant Association/(s) and the Cricket NSW Cricket Manager, the Conference Administrator is tasked with supporting the growth of competitions as well as developing the quality of the cricket environment and consequently improving player retention.

Acting as a conduit between Cricket NSW, Associations and Clubs, the Conference Administrator will implement the NSW competition strategy in alignment with the Australian Cricket Pathway as well as the supporting functions of Local Government Relations (Facilities), Systems & Processes (including MyCricket competition management website), and Financial requirements plus develop and drive social cricket offerings.

About you

  • A desire to drive the growth of cricket by supporting local cricket clubs
  • Experienced competitions administrator, with an understanding of Local Government community objectives
  • High level communication, interpersonal, stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Experience with an Online Management System and intermediate Microsoft Office skills. Proficiency in MyCricket desirable.
