About the role

Assistant Coach - Batting, is a key role within the NSW Blues team, operating as a specialist in the development of batting skills, as well as assisting in the development of the team & other skill areas. Integral to this role is the creation of a program focusing on excellence in team & individual preparation & performance for the Marsh Sheffield Shield & Marsh One Day Cup competitions. As well as possible involvement with Sydney BBL players and teams.

About you

  • Level 3 cricket coaching accreditation (or international equivalent)
  • Extensive experience coaching at an elite level
  • Demonstrable expertise in the technical & tactical elements of batting
  • Innovative approach, with a commitment to embracing the latest developments in cricket & elite coaching
  • Highly energetic & enthusiastic
  • Exceptional leadership skills & a willingness to have honest and open conversations with staff & players.
