THE POSITION: Fairfield City Council is seeking to contract suitably qualified & experienced group fitness instructors with outstanding initiative to join its health & fitness team. Candidates must have a passion for health & fitness, be self motivated, customer focused, professional & proactive. They must be willing to work in a team environment.
Successful applicants will contribute to the ongoing development & delivery of a diverse range of group fitness classes within an experienced team. Opportunities exist for expansion into other areas of the recreational department.
ESSENTIAL: First aid & CPR certificate, Working with children’s check, ABN, own insurance. Plus a mixture of any of the following qualifications: GEL, Aqua, Certificate 3 in fitness,
DESIRABLE: Certificate 3 or 4 in fitness, experience in working with children
SALARY & EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:
- Contracted position, hours are based on a needs analysis
- Flexible working hours are available.
- A Uniform is provided
- Additional mentoring & training available to the right candidates willing to learn additional programs
- Pay rate will be dependent on the type of class delivered
