The Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS) has an exciting opportunity for a Performance Services Program Manager to join a World Class Sports Institute that values People and Excellence.
The purpose of this role is to manage the operations of the WAIS Performance Services Programs, with a focus on maximizing athlete performance.
The Performance Services Program Manager is a management role focused on enabling enhanced athlete development and performance to achieve WAIS organisational goals. The Performance Services Program Manager has responsibility for managing the delivery of performance, financial and other support to athletes training in externally coached environments not aligned to a WAIS sport program.
To be considered for this position, the following experience and qualifications are required;
- A minimum 10 years working in successful high performing teams.
- Degree qualification in a relevant area
- Managing multidisciplinary team of professionals and experts
- Knowledge of the structure and systems associated with high performance sport
This is a part time (0.4 FTE) position, for a parental leave period ending on 31st March 2021.
Salary is from $39,951 to $43,596 ($99,879 to $108,990 FTE) and will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
