About the position

Reporting to the Senior Partnerships Manager, the Partnerships Executive primary responsibilities will be the management of existing partnerships and on boarding of new corporate partners.

This is a full-time role that requires an energetic, dynamic and approachable individual who has a high level of account management experience. The Partnerships Executive will be critical in building strong relationships with partner stakeholders, workshopping strategic priorities with new & existing corporate partners and being the first point of contact for partners in executing their leverage activity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the account management of identified and allocated partners across all aspects of contract delivery
  • Engage partner contacts at all levels (i.e executives, decision makers & agency partners) and develop strong working relationships between the Parramatta Eels and corporate partners
  • Co-facilitate partner workshops to define partnership strategy, uncover priorities for the season’s leverage activity and define KPI’s for the partnership
  • Produce and present end of season reports to key corporate partners summarising all leverage activity and how KPI’s have been met
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met in accordance with partner agreements; work collaboratively with Club staff involved in contract delivery
  • Conduct industry research on best practice brand management, activations, bench marking, asset development and partner return on investment strategies
  • Assist Senior Partnerships Manager and General Manager Commercial with the acquisition and on boarding of new corporate partners from time to time – this may include the likes of developing proposal documents, networking with prospective partners, reviewing the commercial sales pipeline etc.

About you

  • Three years’ experience within a similar role, preferably within the Sport & Entertainment marketing industry
  • A proven track record of managing key marketing and/or sponsorship accounts
  • Excellent communication skills that allow you to have structured and objective-led conversations with customers and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to present to and engage with senior stakeholders
  • Flexibility to at times work outside of normal working hours i.e at game days and club events
  • Possess sound commercial acumen, an understanding of marketing strategy and the role of sponsorship within the marketing framework
  • Tertiary qualifications highly regarded
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and CRM systems
