Oversee compliance with SLSQ Standard Operating Procedures in conjunction with members and the Management Committee.

Oversee compliance with Club and SLSQ policies and procedures, writing and implementing policies as required

Coordinate Club wide activities, with the Management Committee, including:

  • Annual Sign On Day
  • Annual General Meeting
  • Annual Dinner
  • Production of Annual Report
  • Club hosted carnivals
  • Fundraising activities including weekly and major raffle
  • Competitor uniforms, merchandise and apparel

Prepare and submit returns required from the Club to SLSQ and Government agencies


Essential Requirements

  • Experience in Surf Life Saving and its procedures is essential

The Palm Beach Surf Lifesaving Club is a community organisation dedicated to protecting members of the public who swim or surf at our beach.  The Club operates within the SLSA procedures and is one of 11 Clubs in the Point Danger Branch on the southern Gold Coast.   A  volunteer Management Committee lead the Club that provides a Surf Sports program in all areas of lifesaving including water, beach, surf boats and IRB, supporting and equipping 13 Patrol Groups to protect the beaches, awards and training programs for members and a Saturday morning Nipper program for 300 children and their parents.
