The Job

Based at La Trobe University, Bundoora and reporting to the Head of Community, this role is responsible for the delivery of numerous CitC programs.  The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for community and football and be a brand ambassador for CitC, ensuring our high professional standards and vision are applied across all our projects.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver multiple Community programs within primary schools including:-

  • City Robots program;
  • Healthy Hat Trick Program;
  • Oversee school bookings for City in the Community staff;
  • Act as a key contact for SEDA students, who participate as volunteers for the Club;
  • Attend and run school holiday clinics;
  • Assist on match days as required; and
  • Assist with our Young Leaders program including Homework Club.

What we need from you

  • Teaching tertiary qualification
  • Grassroots football coaching qualification (desirable)
  • Driver’s license
  • Previous experience working with children and/or community groups
  • Holder of a Working with Children check (WWC)
  • Ability to meet deadlines, and problem solve to ensure priorities are met in a fast pace environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Honest and reliable, and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Proactive and engaging style.
  • Out of hours work and on weekends will be required.
