The AIS is responsible for leading and enabling a united high-performance system that supports Australian athletes to achieve podium success.

AIS Operations is responsible for leading and enabling a united high performance system that supports Australian athletes to achieve podium success. AIS Operations will deliver targeted High Performance programs that provide unique, impactful and competitive advantage services across the Canberra Campus and European Training Centre (ETC).

The Senior Strength and Conditioning coach is an integral member of the multidiscipline Performance Services team working in collaboration with other AIS teams to deliver the highest standard outcomes for Australia’s sporting system.

We are looking for a Strength and Conditioning Coach with a broad experience across multiple sports in designing and implementing programs, review interpretation and informing practice off testing and monitoring strategies and working in multidisciplinary teams. Applicant must have a degree in human movement, science and or related sport science field and minimum of ASCA (PCAS) Professional accreditation. The position requires high level relationship and communication skills, advanced planning and organisation skills, an ability to think strategically and a passion for strength and conditioning.

The AIS Operations team environment is strong, supportive and friendly, expectations are high and being prepared to go the extra mile when needed is essential.

The position is based in Canberra and will be available until 31st Oct 2021.

Salary range - $106,121 to $125,222 per annum + up to 15.4% superannuation.
