We are looking for coaches that have a strong love and knowledge for the sport and great understanding of coaching methods, industry standards and educational trends. Applicants will need to possess fantastic time management and class management skills. Coaches that take on this position will be a key coach to our ever growing recreational gymnastics program. They will nurture young athletes, motivate, and inspire through teaching quality gymnastics.
Coaches MUST have a current Intermediate level accreditation through Gymnastics Australia as well as a current First Aid and CPR Certificate as a minimum. All applicants must also possess a current working with children check. Applicants MUST be well skilled in using computers for class programming and have excellent customer service skills.
MUST be available to coach Friday nights and all day Saturday’s as part of their working week. Coaches should be or have intentions of working towards an Advanced Level Gymnastics Accreditation; however this is not entirely essential to the position advertised. Previous experience working with children is also desired. Additional coaching opportunities could include; kindergym, school programs, holiday programs, competitive, adult and teen programs as well as tumbling and trampolining.
