This role will drive programs to improve the environment for players and volunteers, and the operation of cricket clubs and competitions in NSW and ACT. In this newly created position, working as part of a highly passionate and motivated team, you will be responsible for providing advice and expertise to Cricket Area Managers, Club Officers and other stakeholders to enhance the cricket experience for participants both on and off the field. Establish and drive best practice across all club and competition activities, in addition to acting as a subject matter expert across club cricket generally. The role is key in promoting and educating the use of the MyCricket website as a valuable tool in the day-to-day running of cricket clubs and competitions.
- You have excellent knowledge of the operations of a community sporting club (preferably a cricket club)
- Experience using a sports competition management website
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills
- You are passionate about providing support to sporting clubs and volunteers
- Have an understanding of the sport of cricket and its role within the community
- You are excited by the sports industry and the opportunities it presents
