The WPA Bookkeeper’s primary role will be to manage the day to day accounting transactions.

This is a part time role (8 hours/week) with flexible working hours. 

The focus area for this position is;  


  • Managing the day to day accounting transactions
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Managing the accounts payable function including the processing of invoices due for payment
  • Managing the accounts receivable function including the allocation of payments
  • Credit control of overdue payments


  • General office tasks, filing and admin duties
  • Any other tasks as reasonably requested by the Finance Manager or CEO
  • Manage issues professionally in conjunction with stakeholders
  • Engage with and maintain effective communication with WPA internal staff and key stakeholders.
  • Adhere to and advocate all the WPA policies and procedures
  • Reflect the WPA values in the everyday work environment

Essential Requirements

  • Previous Bookkeeping experience
  • Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel and MYOB
