MURFC is seeking applications for the position of Head Coach for our new stand alone Womens Rugby Team. Previously the club has engaged in a strong partnership with Northern Rugby Club to form the Uni Panthers, a merger of both clubs women’s players.
This partnership was extremely successful with the Uni Panthers winning the 2018 Linthrop Cup Premiership.
As a result of the Melbourne University entering a team in the Women’s University AON 7’s Competition in 2018, the club has received an influx of new women’s players and have decided to enter a stand alone MURFC Women’s team in 2019 and beyond.
This position provides the successful candidate the opportunity to become involved in the AON 7’s Program in 2019.
We again thank Northern for their support of the joint venture and wish them every success going forward.
