About the role:
We are looking for an experienced, professional and energetic Assistant Manager to join the team at Ku-ring-gai Fitness & Aquatic Centre, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for assisting the Centre Manager in the effective delivery of all administrative, financial and planning activities, ensuring the facility meets the needs of the local community.
As the Assistant Manager you will work directly with the management team to deliver performance across all areas of the business with customer satisfaction and safety at the forefront of everything you do. This is an exciting role with equal focus on financial management, people management and performance within the Centre. An element of the role is in service delivery; across our frontline and customer experience, fitness and aquatics, provided you have the relevant qualifications.
- Qualifications in Business and/or Management or equivalent
- Experience in the management of a medium to large recreation facility
- Sports science/medicine and nutrition qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in people management/leading teams
- Project management experience
- Certificate 3 and 4 in Fitness
- You love a challenge & thinking outside the box
