The Campus Community Division (CCD) is charged with leadership, management and innovation in the provision of high quality non-academic services to students and staff at Monash. Monash Sport is a unit of the CCD and coordinates a wide range of aquatic, indoor & outdoor sport, health, fitness, wellness and social services and activities for University students, staff and the wider community. Monash Sport is looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual to join the team as a Service Desk Supervisor. You will deliver exceptional service to our members and customers in an utmost professional manner, contributing to Monash Sport’s culture and core values through proficient and high-quality frontline service whilst promoting Monash Sport’s programs and services.
Monash Sport’s Service Desk Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Venues and Aquatics Service Desk at our Clayton Campus, ensuring customer service excellence is delivered at all times. This role provides supervision and leadership to approximately 20 casual staff and you will also be responsible for rostering.
Some of the customer service and administrative tasks of this position will include:
- Data entry, statistical reporting and daily banking
- Customer service officer communications
- Delegation of administrative tasks to the customer service team
- In-person customer service on the service desks
The successful applicant will have:
- Prior experience within the sports and recreation industry and a visible passion for this environment
- An aptitude for leading and mentoring staff to be the best
- Unbeatable people skills and an ability to forge strong relationships
- High attention to detail and an ability to organise and prioritise tasks
- Experience using the LINKS Database system is desirable
This position works off a Sunday to Thursday work schedule, so an ability to work weekends and evenings is essential.
