About the Centre
Darebin Community Sports Stadium aims to promote a safe & fun environment for all participants where they can engage in their desired activities. The stadium is connected to the wider community through local sporting clubs & competitions, children's physical activity organisations, and allowing casual entry to the facility. The stadiums space at Darebin Community Sports Stadium can be used for Basketball, Futsal, Netball, Badminton, Volleyball, & Children's Programs.
Key Elements of the Role
The netball umpire is pivotal in the successful performance of the netball competition. The primary purpose of a netball umpire is to regulate the netball games and maintain a safe environment for all participants. A netball umpire is required to enforce the rules and regulations of the game to the best of their ability whilst also ensuring high levels of player satisfaction and fun. In the occurrence of an injury or accident the netball umpire has a duty as a first aider to provide the initial support to the individual.

- Knowledge of the netball game and rules. It is beneficial to have experience umpiring netball and with teenagers and adults in a sporting environment.
