About the Centre
DCSS is a multi-purpose sporting facility that provides opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to participate in a variety of recreational activities.
DCSS host a wide range of recreational activities including Netball, Basketball, Soccer, Badminton, Tennis and Volleyball for all ages. The centre conducts various competitions for both juniors and seniors throughout the week.
Other activities offered at the centre are School Holiday Program and a Golden oldies program and other Senior classes. The centre is gaining a reputation for conducting large and varied events that include Karate, Taekwondo, School Tournaments, Computer Swap Meets and Roller Derby.
Key Elements of the Role
A netball supervisor is required to enforce the rules and regulations of the game to the best of their ability whilst also ensuring high levels of player satisfaction and fun amongst all umpires. In the occurrence of an injury or accident the netball supervisor has a duty as a first aider to provide the initial support to the individual.
The netball supervisor is required to monitor and assist in developing the accreditations of all Umpire for all domestic competition netball games. Also perform umpire duties in the absence of scheduled umpires.

- Knowledge of the netball game and rules. It is beneficial to have experience umpiring netball and with teenagers and adults in a sporting environment.
