Forming a key part of the Sales team, the role will be responsible for promoting and selling raceday hospitality products, providing impeccable hospitality and booking services to members, guests, corporate clients and non-members. You will:
Be the first point of contact - responding to phone requests and queries for race day hospitality bookings
Place outbound phone sales calls to new and repeat customers
Plan and processing customer information, payments and ticketing requirements for bookings
Allocate seating arrangements for members, guests and non-members in private and shared dining areas, exercising judgement to balance the need to prioritise in high yield and volume bookings with the importance to cater to members requirements
Attend race days to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
Work with events and operations staff to ensure smooth running of race day dining and hospitality areas
What we are looking for:
Previous relevant experience in the sports, entertainment, hospitality or events industry
Demonstrated sales success in meeting and/or exceeding revenue targets and KPI’s
Sound Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise, negotiate and consult with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
Experience in data entry or booking systems

The Club represents over 200 years of delivering exciting and entertaining thoroughbred racing in the Sydney region.
Today the Club conducts more than 113 race meetings each year across our four venues including hero events on the annual ATC racing calendar: Sydney Carnival, Golden Slipper Day, the Everest and the Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes Day.
