24 month Fixed Term Contract Position

As a result Wagga Wagga City Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage the delivery of the Wagga Wagga Multisport Cycling Complex (MSCC) project.

Your new role:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of the Wagga Wagga Multisport Cycling Complex (MSCC) project. A regionally significant multi-use facility to be developed at Pomingalarna Reserve, which will involve construction of a number of cycling facilities and supporting infrastructure.

What you will need to succeed:

We are looking for someone with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management,
  • Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) Certification or equivalent, and
  • Extensive experience in contract management associated with large-scale projects (preferably experience delivering a similar sporting complex) including preparation of tender documentation, evaluation of tender submissions, contract award and management.
