Description

This role is responsible for the effective administration, coach coordination and implementation of the AFL’s Auskick program at Toorak Park (Saturday mornings from April to September).

Financials

  • Manage Auskick budget in conjunction with the OXFC General Manager

Administration

  • Organisation of AFL Match day experiences – AFL Halftime Grid and Rules games
  • General oversight and maintenance of Auskick database and responsibility for all content
  • Oversight and responsibility for player registrations and transfers with the the AFL Auskick help service

Auskick Training Days

  • Managing the responsibilities of training days by Coordinating and overseeing all training day coaches
  • Ensuring adequate staffing and coaching levels at all training
  • Ensuring facilities (Toorak Park) are maintained as required in conjunction with OXFC & PFC
  • Arranging of Fun Day for Year 1s once a month with other Auskick Centres

Manage Volunteer Coaches

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all coaches
  • Provide all necessary administrative & coaching assistance to coaches in all areas

Apparel/Equipment/Stock Management

  • Responsibility for stock including ordering, storage and distribution
  • Organise weekly awards and end of season medals through AFL Auskick

AFL Auskick point of contact

  • Ensure compliance with all AFL Auskick requirements
  • Develop and maintain sound and effective relationship with AFL Football Development Manager and key staff
  • Attend Auskick meetings and functions

Membership

  • Generate and distribute all necessary correspondence with members

Reporting

  • Update information to the General Manager on request
