This position is regarded as one of the most coveted CEO roles in Australian sport today. Reporting to the Netball Australia Board the CEO is directly responsible for directing the policies, operations and development of the sport of netball in Australia. The remuneration package is negotiable and structured to attract high quality candidates.

Sportspeople Jobs Market tops 5,000 visitors in one day.

The Sportspeople Jobs Market was first launched in 1999 and over the past eight years has played an important role in bringing job seekers and employers together. Over this time the number of users has grown substantially to a point where the reach and impact of the Sportspeople Jobs Market even surprises us.

A record number of visitors viewed the Sportspeople Jobs Market this week with 5,152 visitors on Monday 11 September, 2006 and 5,086 on Tuesday 12 September, 2006. The number of visitors from Monday 11 September ? Wednesday 13 September, 2006 alone reached 13,972.

Unlike other mega-job sites, the Sportspeople Jobs Market only lists vacancies available in sport, leisure, fitness, coaching and aquatics. Candidates don't need to waste time searching through thousands of non-relevant jobs, while employers can enjoy the benefits of a more structured, targeted advertising approach.

Importantly, the Sportspeople Jobs Market has an established and growing client?le (both job seekers and employers) having been in operation since 1998. We are not a start-up venture offering free listings to establish our business or a generalist job-board with a passing interest in sport, leisure, fitness, coaching and aquatics.

Our client base is the most extensive in Australia and New Zealand across all employer categories in the sport, leisure, fitness, coaching and aquatic sector. Our strength is our client?le, the number of visitors and the success we have achieved in bringing job seekers and employers together.

Happy Sport Managers Day ? Thursday 14 September, 2006

The contribution made to the industry by sport sector employees is being acknowledged across Australia on Sport Manager?s Day Thursday 14 September 2006.

Sport Manager?s Day is an initiative of the Institute of Sport Management and designed to recognise and acknowledge the significant role played by professional Sport Managers in the management and delivery of sport and leisure services and activities.

The Institute of Sport Management has as its mission to represent and service the interests of sport managers, to enhance their profile, professionalism and ongoing development. Sport Managers Day aims to raise the profile of sport management professionals and both recognize and celebrate their achievements in the management and delivery of sport and leisure services and activities.
