AFC Asian Cup Australia 2015
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has awarded Football Federation of Australia (FFA) the right to host the AFC Asian Cup 2015, the premier men s national football competition in Asia. Local Organising Committee AFC Asian Cup Australia 2015 Limited (LOC) has been established by the FFA to plan and deliver the AFC Asian Cup Australia 2015 (AC2015).

Local Organising Committee AFC Asian Cup Australia 2015 Limited (LOC) has been established by the FFA to plan and deliver the AFC Asian Cup Australia 2015 (AC2015). The LOC’s vision is to deliver a world class event that celebrates Asia’s rich football culture and leaves an enduring legacy for the game in Australia.
The AFC Asian Cup Australia 2015 will take place from 9 - 31 January 2015 and will be a “Festival of Football” involving 16 teams playing a total of 32 matches at 5 stadiums in 5 host cities in Australia. This will be the biggest sporting event in Asia and the biggest football tournament Australia has ever hosted, with a potential television reach of more than 2.5 billion people. This will be a special event for all Australians particularly for the 2.5 million people of Asian heritage living in Australia.
