Refinements at the Sportspeople Jobs Market
Sportspeople has a reputation for listening and responding to customer feedback. We have recently made a few changes - otherwise known as "tweaks" - designed to help both job seekers and employers.
Classifications: Employers can now select these additional and refined classifications when listing a role at the Sportspeople Jobs Market. Job Seekers can also now select these classification options when searching for jobs.
- Administration / Finance - a new classification for roles that primarily have administrative or financial responsibilities.
- Coaching / High Performance - an expansion of the former "coaching" classification, for roles that primarily have a coaching or high performance focus.
- Community Club - a new classification for local community clubs. Please note this differs from the Community Sport Club free listings definition.
- Customer / Membership / Athlete Services - a new classification for roles that have a service focus for either customers, members or athletes.
- Development / Participation / Programs - a new classification for roles that primarily focus on development, participation or programs.
- Lifestyle / Yoga / Pilates / Massage - an expansion of the former "lifestyle" classification to include yoga, pilates and massage roles.
- Peak Body / Sport Organisation - an refinement of the former "organisation" classification to include only peak bodies and state, provincial, regional, national and international sport organisations.
- Referee / Umpire / Judge / Official - a new classification for roles that primarily have refereeing, umpiring, judging and official responsibilities.
- Sales / Marketing / PR / Sponsorship - an expansion of the former "marketing" classification, for roles that primarily have a sales, marketing, PR, communications or sponsorship/commercial focus.
Selection Criteria: we've added a few qualifications as an option when employers are listing a job. These qualifications, either Essential or Desirable, link to Sportspeople Learning.
- Qualified Group Fitness Instructor - A new qualification, with new specialised class qualifications as sub-options including Les Mills, Zumba and Boxing.
- Qualified Tai Chi Instructor - a new qualification to compliment the other "lifestyle" qualifications".
