The Australian Leisure Facilities Association (ALFA) is the established peak representative body for the aquatics, recreation and leisure facilities industry in Australia, formed out of a strong industry need for a national organisation to represent its interests.

The recognised industry regional bodies are as follows:
- Aquatic and Recreation Institute (ARI) - Servicing NSW & ACT
- ALFA Queensland – Servicing QLD & northern NT
- Recreation South Australia – Servicing SA & southern NT
- Aquatics & Recreation Victoria (ARV) - Servicing VIC & TAS
As the LIWA Board has elected not to join ALFA at this point in time, all ALFA members within WA are serviced by the ALFA national office. |
