About the role
Inner West Council is currently seeking motivated, outgoing and inspiring individuals with a passion for health and fitness and a genuine interest in improving people’s lives through health and fitness.
As Health and Fitness Trainer, you will provide quality fitness assessments & exercise programs to our Centre users whilst providing excellent customer service. This position is responsible for ensuring that all activities are well conducted, safe and meet industry standards.

Remuneration
$57,955.56 to $63,988.60 (based on full-time hrs, pro-rata for part-time) + Super
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
- Accredited in the provision of Health & Fitness Programs (e.g. Certificate III)
- Maintenance of current insurance for all accredited programs.
- Demonstrated planning and organisational skills.
- High levels of initiative and self motivation.
- Current First Aid Certificate
All new workers must be and remain fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to beginning their work or hold a valid medical contraindication.

Successful applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and agree to provide information for pre-employment checks as required for the position. This may include police records checks, certified copies of relevant qualifications, Driver’s Licence and proof of work rights in Australia (please refer to the Position Description for the specific qualifications/requirements for the role).
