FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE TO JOIN OUR AQUATICS TEAM!

Canterbury College is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our dynamic Aquatics Team as a Pool Lifeguard on a Casual basis. 

Pool Lifeguard responsibilities: As a Pool Lifeguard, you'll be the guardian of safety at our aquatic facilities. Your main duties will include:

  • Keeping a close watch on the pool area, anticipating and swiftly responding to potential risks.
  • Being proficient at administering first-aid and resuscitation when needed.
  • Ensuring everyone follows the facility rules while promoting safe aquatic practices.
  • Taking proactive measures to guarantee the safety and well-being of our patrons and equipment.
  • Providing excellent customer service, addressing questions, and completing daily checklists.

What We're Looking For:

  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing top-notch experiences.
  • Motivation and accountability to perform your best every day.
  • Passionate about promoting water safety and fostering a positive environment.

Essential Qualifications & Licenses: 

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • PLG Lifeguard Certificate
  • Positive working with Children Check or ability to obtain one
