Engine Swim Australia, a leading performance swimwear brand, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Officer to join our team. This full-time/part-time position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day financial operations of our company.

Job Requirements:

• Process bank reconciliations for pinpoint financial accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, maintaining timely payments and collections.
• Oversee cash flow management to optimize financial resources.
• Prepare and record month-end journal entries.
• Handle BAS (Business Activity Statement) and PAYG (Pay As You Go) preparations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for our high-performance swimwear and equipment.
• Generate monthly sales reports to analyse trends and performance.
• Prepare and present comprehensive monthly financial reports for management review.
• Assist in developing and maintaining budgets and sales forecasts.

You'll need the following skills and experience:

• Three or more years of experience in a finance officer role.
• Successfully completed an accounting qualification (e.g, Diploma of Accounting, Bachelors Degree in Economics/Accounting or equivalent).
• Experience working with a cloud-based accounting software like Xero is a strong asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a minimum intermediate level of Excel skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across departments.
• High level of administrative and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• A proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
• The ability to work independently while also being a team player.
